How to Film Your Games ►

When filming your games, please keep in mind that our breakdown team is going to be watching all of the film and logging every single play.

Here are some simple rules to follow:
  • Shoot from the bleachers
  • Zoom close enough to view the jersey numbers but also far enough to see most of the action
  • Film all the action including fouls, violations, free throws and referee signals
  • Use a tripod
  • Film in 720p or higher
  • (Basketball) Prior to the start of the game zoom in on each player on the court. A close full body shot will allow the indexers to pick out details from each player to help better identify them later in the game.
